The story so far…

Since moving to the US, I’ve worked with a huge amount of truly incredible musicians. Here’s a brief list below.

Some of the musicians I’ve worked with, performed, or recorded with are Allan Holdsworth, Jeff Golub, Al Di Meola, Scott Henderson, Scott Kinsey, Kirk Covington, Tony MacAlpine, Steve Weingert, Spyro Gyra members Joel Rosenblatt and Julio Fernandez, Tool drummer Danny Carey, Virgil Donati, Derek Sherinian, Toto drummer Simon Phillips, Brian Hughes, Kenny G percussionist Ron Powell, Chick Corea guitarist Mike Miller, Brandon Fields, Gary Novak, Munyungo Jackson, vibes legend Roy Ayers, John McLaughlin keys player Mitch Forman, Ronnie Laws, Tom Scott, Mark Whitfield, John Abercrombie, Adam Nussbaum, Richie Morales, Kim Plainfield, David Gilmore, Reggie Washington, Minu Cinelu, Paul Jackson Jr, Randy Brecker, and was also Assistant Musical Director for actor and Eco activist, Ed Begley Jr!

I’ve also worked regularly with Scott Henderson as part of our Nomad Trio/Qt , with Mitch Forman in a trio and quintet setting, toured with the Scott Kinsey Group, and was a full time member of both Planet X and the Virgil Donati Group for 5 years, performing in Sweden, Poland, Greece, Australia and Italy. I previously lead acid jazz funk outfit Down to the Bone. Currently I perform and record with my own Trio B.A.D., as well as other live projects here in LA including a cutting edge flamenco group… I like to keep things varied!

I continue to teach lessons and host masterclasses regularly. Some of my past students include: Paul Turner (Jamiroquai, George Michael), Henry Olsen (Primal Scream, Beth Orton), a member of the LA Philharmonic, and many other bassists now out in the professional music world. Students have ranged from almost complete beginners to degree level and beyond. My Masterclasses have been featured at world famous contemporary Music Academies including Musicians Institute, Los Angeles Music Academy, and in Australia, London, England, and Stockholm Sweden.
